Yoga for the Householder

About this Practice
Most people imagine the serious yogi as a renunciant — one who has left behind family, career and the duties of ordinary life. But the Bhagavad Gita’s central teaching is addressed not to a monk in a cave, but to Arjuna: a warrior standing on a battlefield, surrounded by family, weighed down by duty. Yoga, at its root, was never intended as an escape from life. It was intended as a way to live it fully. At Geet Yoga & Fitness Academy, this conviction is the foundation of everything we teach. Yoga is for the householder — the parent, the professional, the commuter, the person who wakes up every morning to the ordinary demands of an ordinary life. The practice begins not in a retreat, but here, in the middle of everything.
