About this Practice
Dhyana Mudra (gesture of meditation) is practiced by resting the right hand in the left, both palms facing upward, with thumbs lightly touching. This mudra is associated with the state of deep contemplation and is used across Buddhist, Hindu and yogic traditions to settle the mind and support access to samadhi states.
